I had mixed feelings about my stay at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside West. While the location is fantastic and the rooms are spacious, I encountered several issues with service, especially during check-in. Although my initial room was disappointing, the hotel did eventually accommodate me by moving me to a room with an ocean view, which was good. but the hiccups in service left a sour taste overall.

My first room was quite small and noisy due to its proximity to the freight elevator. However, after reporting my concerns, I was moved to a much better room with an ocean view that matched the website photo.

Customer service had a rocky start, especially at check-in where there seemed to be a lack of urgency and communication. Though management attempted to rectify the situation eventually, the initial experience was frustrating.

My stay at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside West was a mixed experience. The spaciousness of the suite was impressive, featuring a king bed and two double beds, and I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool. However, check-in was delayed, taking nearly an hour and a half longer than expected, which was frustrating. The service seemed a bit underwhelming compared to previous visits, and the absence of familiar amenities left me wanting more.
